Users wishing to use Laboratory Animal Center services must submit an Animal Use Protocol (AUP) to the Thammasat University Animal Care and Use Committee (TU-ACUC) for review (study the submission process at http://lac.tu.ac.th/iacuc.php?page=protocol )
Once the project is approved, they can proceed to initiate animal experiments according to the steps outlined at http://lac.tu.ac.th/lactu.php?page=step or contact the animal facility staff at 02-5444440-79 ext. 7460-62 (Animal Experiment Unit) to schedule the import of experimental animals and reserve laboratory space.
Currently, Laboratory Animal Center provides laboratory operation services for users requiring expertise in animal experimentation. The services are detailed in the service fee schedule of Laboratory Animal Center, available at the link provided by the office.
Currently, Laboratory Animal Center does not include services for writing animal use and breeding projects. Services are provided under certified user projects approved by TU-ACUC.
Currently, Laboratory Animal Center can conduct sample testing on laboratory animals for certain projects. Users must collaborate in writing the Animal Use Protocol (AUP) with Laboratory Animal Center.
Laboratory Animal Center will conduct sample testing operations on laboratory animals, with a team of experts in animal experimentation. Users must interpret the test results themselves.
Laboratory Animal Center will soon open full-scale sample testing services in the next phase, in the Drug Testing Laboratory and Veterinary Pathology Laboratory.
The Drug Discovery and Development Center provides services in 3 formats:
1. Providing scientific tools and equipment services
2. Providing laboratory testing services
3. Providing research services
If customers are interested in analysis and testing jobs outside the published service rates, they can inquire at the Drug Research Center, where researchers will provide details (e.g., analysis and testing duration, preliminary service rates) for customer consideration.
Intellectual Property (IP) is the result of human invention, creativity, or creation, emphasizing the products of intellectual and expertise, regardless of the type of creation or method of expression in tangible or intangible forms. Intellectual Property is divided into 2 types: Copyright and Industrial Property.
Intellectual Property resulting from creative work generated from an inventive activity with a technical problem-solving characteristic
Inventions that are newly invented differ from the previous ones, have not been widely used in the country or have not been disclosed in important information or details in documents, printed matter, or exhibition displays, or disclosed to the public before the filing date. Also, it has never been patented before
Inventions with higher invention activity levels, which are characteristics that are technically resolved, or are not inventions that can be easily performed by people who have ordinary skills for this type of work
Inventions that can be applied in industry
1. Co-working Space
2. Business consultation by experts in the TUIPI network
3. Linking networks between government and private sectors
The Technology Clinic has been set up as a platform for the TUIPI and TUIPA research community to provide consultation and technology transfer to users, stakeholders, and target groups, based on market information and knowledge about each area of focus
The clinic is designed to provide consulting services to various organizations and sectors to use technology and to increase the academic and commercial value of the IP throughout the use process.
Thammasat University's Center of Intellectual Property and Business Incubator, in collaboration with the startup community, has published an informative article about activities and growth throughout the IP's history to increase the market value of intellectual property and stimulate the university's extensive growth in the various IP fields.
